Lots of governments are interested in implementing open data and open source. The open government working group could form a a team of people who can advise government agencies on how to go about the business of open government. If you think this is a good idea, it would be great to have some discussion on the specifics:

I think the tricky thing would be to build a "Advisory Team" on a general international level. Most "task teams" I am aware of have acted in a local context. They have been able to advise Government because they had expert knowledge about the local political, legal and administrative framework and structure. However, if the "Open Government Advisory Team" would ideally have a member of each region it might be worth trying. |
