Ability to drop in to existing system (e.g. with a javascript fragment) a anyone-edit discuss page (a la wikipedia).

Concrete deployment scenarios

  • CKAN package pages
  • WDMMG spending pages
  • Spreadsheet cells and rows (e.g. in google docs) - timjph's idea
  • (-) hard to integrate

Existing tech

  • Disqus (perhaps could just use this directly)
  • (-) closed source
  • etherpad -- can we just iframe etherpads?
